We wax, pluck, preen and pout; shave, groom, buff, paint and polish; starve, binge, purge, pierce and puncture; cut, contour and contort, fake it, make it and bake it… Join us for ‘Whose Body is it Anyway?’, a night to explore the realms of ‘body’ and body politics, presented by The Social Society.

Guest speakers:

Sarah Pfitzner, has been a body worker for over a decade and is passionate about social justice issues, especially in working with women and girls to change the narrative around body image and beauty standards. She is a Facilitator Trainer with the non-profit Embody Love Movement® and offers workshops and training in the UK and around the world.

Alice Reeves, children’s book author, digital marketing consultant and co-owner of digital marketing agency The Joyful Web, plus the founder of Belongcon, inspiring speakers to share their stories and experiences of finding community, acceptance, and belonging in the world.

Lucy Rowett, certified Sex Coach™ and clinical sexologist, writer, empath and passionate pleasure advocate, Lucy is the creator of Liberated Collective, an online sisterhood for sexual freedom.
